Listen here, are you sick n tired of paying that 7% every month going straight to the car dealer. Get this, use all the financing out there to get a 0% APR financing. I just recently purchased a 2007 vehicle and im paying $375 a month. But this is interest free.. I also received a 0% APR financing credit card for a year. Guess what i did.. Put it on the card, and pay off the card as much as possible. Get this the credit card rate after that is only 6.5%. So even if i cant pay it all off, im still paying less. But here is the real trick, i get these 0% cards pretty regularly, dont you? Guess what im gonna be doing by 10 months from now. Paying off my first credit card with this second one. Now i have another year, interest free! I have no doubt ill have this car paid off in full interest free in 3 years tops. If you dont have great credit, then this might be difficult, but talk to your parents if your young enough, they can back you. It works! dont pay interest ever again!

besides the fact that applying for different cards will lower your credit score, this will work.

applications stay on your score for 2 years

a bunch of applications in a very short time is ok.. but it lowers your score to apply say once a year to get that new 0% card.

but who cares unless your planning to get a huge loan for a house etc within those 2 years. that is the only case where it wouldnt be worth it because even a fraction of a percent more on a house loan is a TON of money.

i did this with a motorcycle i bought. but then i found an american express card with 3.9% forever, so i just stuck with that since in a few years i plan to be in the market for a house.

The interest goes to the bank that finances the loan, not to the car dealer.

Sounds like a good idea, but I didn't know that dealerships take credit cards for car payments. Hmmmm.....
