Prophet's come with a promise from God (Covenant) ... God will promise one thing in exchange for something. I don't recall Nostradamus being promised anything that wasn't already promised (return of Jesus)

Nostradamus was not a very good prophet, if that. He was only right a tiny fraction of the time, and then by chance. His prophecies were so obscure that anyone could make anything out of them.
Technically, the definition of a prophet is as follows:
1. What they say does not contradict Scripture.
2. They are never popular.
3. What they predict actually comes to pass.
4. They are often unwilling at first to be the mouthpiece of God.
5. They go into Spirit-induced trances when receiving prophecy.

If you want to read the writings of a real modern prophet(ess), read E.G. White.

Could he see the future?
Born in the early 16th century, Nostradamus has become one of the world's most widely known and read prophets.

His poetic yet cryptic quatrains are claimed by some to conceal information about future events. He completed a total of 942 quatrains which he organized into Centuries - groups of 100 quatrains (one Century only had 42 quatrains).

Do these writings actually predict the death of popes, rise of tyrants, and natural catastrophes to come?

Read his prophecies, hear the arguments, and decide for yourself.

He's overrated. At this point no knows what the truth is anymore just as the bible says.

Here's food for thought - the bible does not predict nostradamus either.

A true prophet gets all his prophesies correct. To my knowledge Nostradamus had followers that changed some of his prophesies to make them fit with the event.

I don't think so. I think it's just another one of those conspiracy theories.

In my opinion, there is no proof at all to say that he predicted all these events. The only problem for me to believe in his predictions is that they always say he predicted it would happen AFTER the events took their place.

No!
His info most likely came from the Bible, and through a little manipulation, he put it into his own words!

Anything is possible and if no one cannot get it right, then everyone can get it right. It's a double negative.
