I know how you feel. Last August was the first time I had been on a plane ever. I was scared to death and I was going alone. Everyone was really nice. I got on the plane and sat in my seat and put my seat belt on. I just kind of sat there clenching the arm rest and the lady sitting next to me asked me if I was ok. Of course I said yeah, I will be, as soon as I get off this thing in Phoenix. She knew it was my first time and assured me that everything would be fine. It was a lot like riding a bus. Anyway, we started heading out and I was right by the engine. It was super loud. There was a bit of turbulence as we took off, but nothing real bad. It reminded me of going over bumps on a four wheeler. The speed though....I felt like I was in a rocket. I was getting pushed into the back of my seat. I loved the feeling. After it smoothed out, it was a nice smooth ride. I sat and listened to music, they served a meal and before I knew it we were close to Phoenix. The landing was about the same as the take off. The views in the sky were amazing and seeing the clouds below and around us was so cool. Anyway, that is my story. If I can do it, I'm sure you'll be fine too.

It's awesome! I'm 42 and still get a rush every time i'm on a plane and we speed up and finally leave the ground. The planes have so much power, and go so fast, you're pushed back in your seat - it's cool. It's always astounding that something so big can get off the ground.

In flight, it's fun to look out the window and see the landscape go by far below. I've flown through some beautiful cloudscapes, too. Most planes now have screens at every seat, so you'll have your choice of movies, TV shows and games.

Have fun!

i've got flown various cases. i used to be frightened of flying till i began moving into many cases and found available is no longer something to be nervous of. it is fairly no longer undesirable in any respect--you would be great. i might tremendously propose bringing an MP3 participant with you and a few analyzing fabric (they are going to have some on the airplane too). It helps bypass the time and while you're feeling hectic, it helps to calm you. Air holiday those days is rather secure, even safer than driving! somewhat pondering the tens of millions of human beings who fly on a daily basis. while you're hectic a pair of airplane crash, it is totally uncommon and inspite of what others say, there is nice risk which you will proceed to exist it. somewhat in case you pay interest to the safety training once you board the plane. what to assume: in keeping with climatic situations, you will possibly have some turbulence via wind. it is common to have on flights and as long as you're seated, it would not pose a huge threat to you. you apart from mght would or will possibly no longer additionally pay attention some loud engine noise based on the airplane you fly. this is widely used too.

it is a rush... like driving a fast car... only a lot better.

My two young daughters, ages 4 and 6, are veteran flyers. If they can do it, you can too.

Sometimes there is turbulence, where you bounce around a little bit, but it really is no big deal. If you are susceptible to motion sickness, take some motion sickness pills about 30 minutes before you fly. I think the pills are called Dextramine. (I am not sure about the name, but it starts with a D, and are available over the counter at any pharmacy.)

Bon Voyage.

It's interesting to go on to YouTube- there are so many people that video out the window on takeoff and landing- of course you miss the sounds but you get the visual. It's amazing how one minute everything is lifelike in size and in ten seconds everything is peanut and by a minute- it's a little ant village. It really is exciting. Just imagine a roller coaster that keeps going up and up and up but you never have that hard drop. An airplane lands very gracefully. It's a modern marvel- no doubt

It's like riding a bus - noisy, crowded, automated, and usually very safe, and fun the first time but very routine the more you do it.

You're more likely to get hit by lightning than to be in an airplane crash, so don't worry. Keep an eye on the stewardesses - they spend all day in planes, so they will be the first to notice if anything is out of the ordinary. There's no reason to freak out until the stewardesses start looking upset.

Be prepared for long lines and bizarre security restrictions.

Flying is like being in a car you feel it when you take off after that you kind of forget you are on a plane

its not bad at all. i used to hate it and i do it alot now and dont mind it at all. if you can try and get an exit row seat or get a seat in the front row so you can have leg room. it makes the trip much easier. nothing to be scared about at all. its sorta like being in a car or a bus. its pretty easy to get bored so bring plenty to do to keep yourself occupied on the plane. sleeps usually good, but it can be hard to fall asleep on a plane

Its great. Takeoff and landing is the best part, you really get a sense of speed. The rest of it is like a car ride with bumps here and there. oh and take some gum to chew on as you climb and descend it will help equalize the pressure in your ears and make it much more comfortable.

It's not bad, it feels like you are sitting in a bus. Even, if you feel a bit of turbulance, it feels like you have driven over a pot hole. You may feel a little pressure in your ears when you change elevation, like you feel when you are driving in the mountains. It's fun. Make sure to get a window seat.
