I don't know how much it is in Rhode Island but when my daughter was a baby daycare was around 175 or more per week for new borns. You'll just have to check around. I would also make use that they have an open door policies and cameras.

It strongly depends on where you live. We don't live in Rhode Island but we're currently paying 245 a week for an almost 2 year old. That's about the least you can pay in my area and still be assured that you child isn't being neglected or full out harmed. We end up paying for for a month of daycare than we do for a month of rent. Ask around in your area, visit a ton of daycares to price check and find out where you can get the most for you money but still be assured that your child is being cared for.

I live in Texas and here we pay $90 a week for daycare. The infant room does not accept part time daycare so it is the same reguardless of how often we take her. You need to call around to daycares in your area and get prices and ask them if they accept part time daycare. You also need to take into affect the cleanliness, friendlyness, of the daycare and staff! You might find one who has cameras so you can go on the internet and see whats going on in the babys room. I used to work in a daycare and I would say that is a really good idea! You would not believe some of the stuff that goes on in some of them! Make sure you do your reasearch and you are comfortable with the daycare you choose before the baby starts!

I pay about $100/week. Newborns can be more. In my daycare 3 or more days is a full week and 2 or less is half, so $50.
