Go see a chiropractor. I am a chiropractor and I have had hundreds of patients get off of their migraine medications. The most recent is a nine year old that got 2 to 3 migraines per day for the past 3 years. He's only had 1 in the past month of care. My wife became a chiropractor because she had 2 migraines per week. She's only had 2 migraines in the past 8 years, now. Chiropractic works and the only side-effect is health.

I know that you've probably already thought of this but diet is often the cause of migraines and sometimes something unexpected like oranges or chocolate.
I know it's hard work but I would recommend you go on an anti-allergy diet (which eliminates all known alergy foods) and then slowly reintroduce things one at a time.
It would be a pain to do but worth it in the long run if you could identify the problem.

i suffer from them too they are a nightmare! I have been on different prescribes tablets but nothing seemed to work for me too.

Try Migraleve - you can get it over the counter at chemists - you take two pink pills at the first sign of a headache then take two yellow a few hours after if you headache has not gone. (best to read up about them first)

I found that since giving up coffee and cutting down on chocolate and cheese has helped alot. Also try getting your eyes tested as you may be straining your eyes alot. It could also be sudden changes in your sleep pattern i.e weekends as you may stay up later and get up later makes your body suddenly change sleep pattern - can cause migraines.

I used to have horrible migraines. I was taking a daily preventative pill for them and another medication when they got really bad and it was really expensive. I started exercising and quit having frequent migraines in about a month.

There are always alternative therapies to try, if you're willing to be open-minded and pay for them. My cousin was plagued by migraines for many years until she tried acupuncture. She swears it is the only thing that can alleviate the pain.

i used to have horrible migraine headaches. prescription meds never worked for me so i use excedrin migraine and an aleve. it works for me usually. BUT if you are a girl and are on birth control that could be a cause of it. also i have scent and light induced headaches so i have to stay away from strong perfumes and fluorescent light. good luck!

Sorry to hear about the headaches, go back and see your doctor, but the following is possibly of use drink no tea, coffee, fizzy drinks.
Drink loads of water, loads of neutral type veg ie cauliflower, celebrise (broccoli), leaks, spinach, and keep clear of bread and potatoes, try eating porridge and rice. NO CHOCOLATE.
Be careful on meats, fish is good and pork and turkey chicken etc.
See if it helps,
If it reduces it may be you have food resistance.
