since there are more women than there are men, does god take 2 ribs from some men? also, does he take the ribs while the male fetus is in utero or after death? if they are taken after death, is it a sin to be cremated and thus destroy god's chance to make another woman? I just don't know. so many questions.

This could win the award for the stupidest question of the day!!!!
The reason is God only used one rib, not the entire rib cage.
God used a rib to make woman so she would be mans equal, not subservient, but his helpmate.

After the sinking of Atlantis, man went back too primitive living again. All science was lost too the survivors. What God did was scientifically clone the woman from the mans DNA. Much like our scientists do in the lab today with sheep, rats, & other mammals. Cain and all of his descendants could never understand anything about science, so the best way God could explain it too them was about the story of the rib, as written in the book. see?

I have Heard that Ribs Grow Back , if they are Removed in Surgery.
I am not a Doc.
