Having food in your stomach will mean the alochol is absorbed into the food as well as the blood stream and limit the affects of the alocohol. Drinking without eating means the alcohol goes directly to your blood stream and the affects of intoxication start sooner.

Yes to both. Your body processes everything you eat and drink as best it can. If you have food in your stomach, especially some types of breads and calcium carbonates, the alcohol will be absorbed and processed much slower. You won't get as drunk as quickly, even if it is still just as bad for you. If you try to drink on an empty stomach, first of all you might make yourself very very sick, but second, you'll get the effect much faster.

Think of it this way - with medicines, they tell you whether to eat first or to take a pill on an empty stomach. Alcohol is sort of the same way. If you are just drinking to get drunk (which is bad, btw) then go ahead and drink on an empty stomach. It's cheaper. But if you're just out to have a good time, eat something first. You'll keep your wits a little longer.

Not necessarily in the long haul, but may lengthen the time it takes for you to get drunk. Depends on of course how much food, hopw much alcohol, and when you eat. If you gorge after you've already been drinking for a long time, it will probably only make you puke. You should have some food in your stomache before you start drinking, or early into it!

It slows the absorption of alcohol.

Whether it makes you less intensely drunk at a given point in time depends on how quickly you consume the alcohol, the amount of food, the total fats in the food (alcohol will dissolve in fats selectively, slowing their absorption), and other factors.

In general, not unless you aren't drinking much and have eaten high fat foods.

I woud in no way recommend ingesting on an empty abdomen, yet attempt eating much less. sounds such as you have an exceedingly extreme tolerance, as do I yet after 25 photographs i could be out for the count sort haha. attempt taking a ruin from ingesting and than initiate lower back up agian to decrease your tolerance. additionally inspect the alcohol quantity. If its surprisingly low, of course it is going to take longer so which you will get inebriated. in the adventure that your blending your photographs with some thing to lead them to tasty, attempt including extra alcohol and much less mixer!

Yes, having food in your stomach will absorb alcohol more quickly. I wait to drink at least 3 hours before I last ate.

I know that when I'm drinking I tend to munch on something to slow the effects of the alcohol down then when I'm done drinking I tend to be starving.
