How do I remove an unknown person from my credit report?

I checked my credit report and there is someone else listed on there with the same first and last name as myself but a different middle name. I can find this person's address as being legitimate as well. What would easiest to remedy this problem?

Hello
You would need to send letters to all the credit Bureaus that have inaccurate information on your credit report. Specify to them what is incorrect.

Sample Letter below To Get you Started add or delete anything to the letter below.................


Date


Credit bureau's name

Street address

City, state, zip


Re: [Your name]

[Your street address]

[Your City, State & Zip]

[Your Social Security Number]

[Your date of birth]

[note: If you have lived at your present address for less than two years, put the old address in also]





Dear Sir/Madam:


After reviewing my credit report, I have discovered some accounts that are not mine. These accounts are:



[Name of account exactly the way it shows on your report, including the number next to account (this is the subscriber number). List all accounts that are not yours]



Please find enclosed a copy of my recent credit report showing these accounts.



I demand that these items be investigated and, if not verified, deleted from my credit report.



Please send me my updated report as soon as possible.
