Recently I've been trying to figure out how to tell if a guy likes a girl. Like, do they act differently around girls they like? And if so, how? I know it's different with different guys, but in general how do guys act around girls they like? I'm sorta into one of my guy friends, but he flirts with everyone so it's hard to tell who he actually likes. Any advice is appreciated. I know this is kinda of lame, but I'm a teenager. So sue me!! haha

Ok, so I understand that they either talk to you a lot or get quite around you depending on the guy, and that I really should just ask because thats the simplist way to handle it, but how do guys act around girls that they like as opposed to girls that they're just friends with? Besides just flirting in general.

Ack, I'm so bad at phrasing things. Maybe I'll just give examples.
We're in this musical together and we go right after school. When we get there he always steals my iPod and comments on my music. We have really random conversations (like once I was complaining about my friends and he said that he'd help me pick out new ones and stuff). And he hugs me sometimes. But he also hugs a bunch of other girls and puts his arm around them and jokes around and is random with them. It's all confusing. Gah!

If he stops doing certaing things like holding your hand touching you, that is usually a sign that he is reserved because he is tip toeing around the issue. However, best thing to do is take the bull by the horns. Ask him whats up? If he is over affectionate he is probably just flirty. But ask em, it never hurts

When a boy likes a certain girl; he is really quite around her. Depending on the grade the boy will act really mean to the girl make fun of her.

He may look at you more. Maybe try to communicate with you whether it is a smile or a convesation. He may even flirt with you. Maybe you should make the move though?

erm...well they will talk to you a lot, and flirt alot to, and will compliment you and if they do stuff to you that they dont to other people...then thats obvious they like you.
