If leaders claim to pastors or real men of God how come their not doing the same miracles?

as the apostles did?I read the scripture when it said speak with other tongues lay hands on the sick and they will recover;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;"and greater things will happen to those who believe...........in other words Jesus said we can do bigger and better things then Him.I don`t see any pastors walking on water nor when their shadow casts on the sick they recover;nor raising the dead.The ones (i wont mention names) who claim to;turn out to be fakes.Me personally am just learning;I am starting to lay hands on animals when their dying and I`m having miraculous results.But it dosn`t work everytime;and I don`t claim to be all knowing nor in leadership at a church.

Only Jesus is sin free.

I ponder WTF the Blessed Mother Theresa confessed as sins each day she went to confession (she went daily). Wow, she did so much for so many --- and then I look at me and (blush) I'm embarrassed.

Saints, Popes, Bishops, Priests, Prophets have all come and all sinned in some manner. It is through the forgiveness of Jesus that we can spend a life to move away from sins and wrong doings to lead better happier lives.

Pastors definitely should set a good example --- however, we should not all sit around and throw stones at them when they fall --- since it is well known that we are all human. As Jesus saved the prostitute from being stoned to death (we should follow his example) ... Jesus also said, "Go and sin no more" (meaning we shouldn't follow the sinner, but the forgiven person)

that's definitely important here. also! in that verse that talks about annointing with oil and laying on hands, James purposely uses the word for annoint that does not mean "ceremoniously annoint" but he uses the word "apply medicinally".

it means to make sure to seek medical attention and suppliment that with prayer!

tongues aren't necessary anymore, since the gospel has been spread already and languages can either be learned or are already known by those who share the Gospel!

Jesus didn't mean we would do more extraordinary things than He did, He said that in regards to the Gospel, we will spread it further and reach more people, doing greater things than were done in His lifetime. the key is that he is talking to all believers as a whole, not to individual people!

those people who claim to heal usually are fakes. they make me sick, and they are not honoring the God they claim. they are the false Christians that Christ said He would deny after they die.

Healing by the laying on of hands is a priesthood ordinance. Yes, many miracles have been done in this day and age by real preisthood holding, men and apostles of God.

Also many miracles have been done by other random leaders. Which ones act by the true power, and authority of God? only the Holy Ghost can let you know that.
