one would have to be very strong in their faith to not become cyincal from this forum. Do you agree? Some days it is so harsh and vile on here

I agree with you, it is not the unbelief of other members that does this but the repetitive juvenile questions that really are idiotic.
I think the vileness of trolls spoils this section at times and takes the whole section right down to gutter level.

This is one place where we need to use the armour of God, so that we can stand against the tricks of the devil.
Ephesians 6 verse 10 - 18

For we do not fight against flesh and blood, but against the evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against those mighy powers of darkness who rule this world, and against wicked spirits in the heavenly realms.

Use every piece of armour to resist the enemy in the time of evil, so that after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the sturdy belt of truth and the body armour of God's righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Gospel so that you will be fully prepared. In every battle you will need faith as your shield to stop the fiery arrows aimed at you by satan. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray at all times and on every occasion in the power of the Holy Spirit. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all Christians everywhere.

If you are on this forum all the time, it is because you have developed an addiction to it. Your faith has become cynical because of your faith. You have become what it is that you do the most, you have become harsh and vile - cynically searching for answers to unasked questions that are not satisfying to you.

Truly. I was unprepared and the battle unexpected. I pray up big time before I come in here. The reward is increased strength and resolve to share the Love. Celebrate the small victories.
Remember to lift up the family- a gentle answer turns away wrath. If it were easy- He wouldn't have called us here. We be the big guns.
I don't answer for Him. He answers through me.
Lets all remember Love is KIND- doesn't judge and offers hope-
Speak love. Be blessed. Love you!

As long as I'm focused on Christ, I'm fine. But if my focus wavers, then there are times when I find myself becoming cynical and sarcastic. It's not right, and I know it.

My goal is Romans 12:17-18:

Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.

What I love about this site is that it's like perfect practice for when I come across an Atheist in person, I know what they will say, I know how to counteract them, and I won't be affected by what they say because I would have already gotten use to them saying it on here.

So it's practice but at the same time not, because I really am trying to get them to listen.

I could not agree more.
that is the main reason I am here....
to give God's Word equal time.
sometimes I cannot believe the
things people write about the Living God,
as if He was a being on their level.
the created criticizing the Creator.....
the ultimate in human foolishness.

there is hatefulness from some non-believers & from some who claim to be Christians. I enjoy sharing thoughts & ideas with people who ask sincere questions. I refuse to be insulted by small-minded people who only want to get a reaction from others by baiting.

You just have to remember that others do not feel the same way, and that its your responsibility to be a good example. Thats how I get through it.

Yes, you have to be that, but you have to in real life too and there's where our faithfullness and love of God is tested.
