How do I tell a long time Spanish female friend that I would now like an intimate relationship?

ok hun. If she doesnt get it is because she might not speak english very well, if that's the case, tell her "Me gustaria tener una relacion intima contigo, tu me gustas desde hace tiempo, lo intentarias conmigo?" or you can also write her a little note if you cant pronounce it properly. I have an idea, why dont u try to pronounce it and if she doesnt get yet, write the message in spanish in a cute little note (like nice paper). If she turns u down, sorry hun.

ask her out for valentines day movie, do for a walk or something afterward what ever you would normally do give her a small gift as a token of your friendship (jewelry doesn't have to be expensive there are cute silver bracelets with a little dangling heart on them or anything dainty like) shows ur committed without going overboard and if you cant say it write it in a card nothing fancy get a box of kid school cards check yes or no and if she says no which she might just reassure her you want to maintain the friendship and follow up with a friendship call the next day you don't get the gift back and if she says yes then for gosh sakes move in quick with a hug and a kiss she maybe wondering what you've been waiting for

You can't just let her know you want one, with the no pick up on your hints, maybe she's given you hints that she's not interested and you're the one that doesn't pick up on it.
