drink lots of water - dont eat anything with sugar or lots of sodium. you can have some cranberry juice too. You really just need to flush out the impurities. There is an over the counter medication - I dont recall the name of it, but it is for the purpose, and has the name cranberry in it... You would find it if you went to the store and had a pharmacist help you out. Just eat some fruit and drink lots of water. hope you feel better.

Cranberry juice can actually cure a mild kidney infection but it will atleast minimize damage. Try also to take some over the counter urogesics (urinary pain relievers). Most common ones have an active ingrediant of Phenazopyridine and it works wells.

Hold out as long as you can but if you notice blood in the urine, clots, or feel abdominal or flank pain then you should go to the ER. It sucks to have to pay for it but with those signs you can be going serious damage to your insides.

Drink lots and lots of water. So much water you feel like you will burst! It will flush the infection out of your system. Cranberry helps prevent it, but once you have it take vitamin C to help get rid of it. To help with the pain take a nice hot bath. If you do these things it is most likely you will not have to go to the doctors at all. Trust me been there done that. Good luck!

You don't know what is wrong yet. Don't drink cranberry juice or any other juice or any herbal supplements. Just water and lots of it. If you are experiencing pain, contact the doctor's office and report this to them. It may get you in sooner.
