I think that you should get your hair layered. Do it so that it frames your face. Ask the stylist to soften the edges with a razor, so that it looks light and slightly feathery. As for color, I don't know about your skin tone, but get something that compliments skin tone. I recommend balayage(baliage) highlights. They are hand painted highlights that are done without foil. They come out soft and really gorgeous.

It really depends on your face shape, but lets say you need something long and that can be put up, just add a few long layers to your cut and maybe a little bang (fringe) that you can get out of the way if necessary...good luck and color.....use beautiful hi lites or a total wonderful color that you would enjoy!!

I would say to layer it a little bit at the bottom for definition. And for the color, ( I have no idea what color your hair is or what will look best on you but..) put some highlights in your hair. I think that a sandy blonde base with darker streaks in it looks awesome. :)

Get lots of layer done. Make the shortest layer to your nose. As for color, it almost spring, but not quite, so I'd say something toasty brown, with a hint of redness. But not too much red, you don't want to overpower the toastyness.

Have your hair in a bun with 2 tindrails.(tindrails are those long skinny pieces of hair that hang down in front of your face).
