Or will i have to settle with gray?

I'm gonna get a tat of my family's coat of arms but the colors are black and silver,

There are some metallic inks available but they are very rare. A good tattoo artist can use other colors to make it look metallic without actually using silver ink.

Any decent tattooist can mix colours but the closest you'll get to silver is a kind of grey/white which will still look cool on a coat of arms:)

there isn't a silvery shiny color but there is a light gray that can be used with white hilights that will give a silvery look. the key is to have a talented artist do the tattoo.

No, no silver. You can ask for a light blue or grey. Also, if you tan tell your artist, that also affects color choice.

I've heard that there's no silver, but there is black light ink! That's pretty trippy.
