But if he really loved me, do you think he would have went out with me before he went out with her because it was 2 years that he knew you loved him.

First and foremost, you are talking about something that can be described as "baggage". You said it yourself, "Now you have been together for 1 year and 7 months and thing are going great." If things are "great" then don't dwell on the past. It will only bring pain into your relationship. This being said, you were his second best option. Accept it and continue to let things be "great" or don't accept it and move on. Bottom line, if the past still bothers you, your relationship can't be that "great".

Yes a we a (man or woman) can love someone even if they are in a relationship with someone’s else, being with the same person sometime feel so safe you don't want to leave, but at the sometime you have feeling for others (we’re only human), but it always nice to be with someone you feel comfortable with. Why try something new when the person your with loves you and you know what to expect, you know their ever move the likes and dislikes it's so easy just staying right where you are. Just like the old pair of shoes you'll never part with so can relationship be just like that pair of shoes. Until the new ones comes along and you want nothing more but to take them for a test run.

Wow. It's so funny that you bring this up because I'm sort of going through the same thing. The thing is...is that sometimes people have to explore before they really realize what they have in their lives. I know that sounds horrible but it's true. I can relate to how you feel though. It's not fair and it's a very hurtful feeling. He may have loved you back then but I'm sure his love has grown even more for you now. Has he apologized to you? Have you fogiven him? These things are also important.

I personally think it takes time for you too find out you love someone. I am not really sure how the saying goes but sometimes love can be right in front of you but you are too blind to see it. Maybe it just took him sometime to realize that you are what he was looking for. Maybe at first he didn't want to jeopardize the friendship that is why he went out with someone else. But, after the fact he realized that you meant a lot to him and it was worth a shot.

NO NO & NO!!! will girls ever stop being gullible! why don't they realize that what guys really want is sex and no matter what he isn't gonna change even if he does love you the perverted gene is ALWAYS the dominant one in guys it hurts but it's the truth and girls need to realize they're netter than that and stay away from guys forever and it's not the end of the world if they don't ever have a bf or husband.....look at guys you don't evr hear them saying i don't wanna be alone forever w/ that sad look in thier eyes (like i said they just want sex)

well jus cause he knew yew loved him didnt mean he loved yew, maybeover the course of those 2 years he could fell in love with yew, so i would say yes....he does really love yew
