Currently i am talking to this boy who most of my friends don't like. When you meet him he comes off as a huge jerk, and sometimes he does stupid things. He kind of has some anger issues... but not about anything important it seems. But I hung out with him one night and he was really funny and pretty nice... He is still a little cocky though. lol
Anyhow I started talking to him, and we're kind of dating. He's really sweet to me and talks to me like everyday. right, so.... he's in the marines and originally was supposed to be deployed for 14 months and i figured that when he came back we could kind of pick up where we left off, and everyone would be over the stuff they didn't like about him. my friends would get to know him and like him.
but now he's talking about how he might not have to be deployed and what not. and that means he'll come home sooner, and i can't really just hide it, i know he wouldn't be ok with it... and i wouldn't' either.
I'm not sure what i should do...

If you like him and he treats you good, who cares what your friends think. They need to get over it since it's your life. If they're really your friends, they'll adjust, that's what friends do. If they can't handle it but the two of you are doing really good together, you'll need to not put as much weight into what others think.

wow! u are in a jam aint ya...well if ya love him and they should respect that you do like him,i know there probably really worried.........but if it was me i would ask them to talk to him and try and be friends and if they dont i would say im sorry but i love him and thatz it.......
