Drive from San Diego to Los Angeles?

I need to be in Ontario (Los Angeles) by 1pm on a monday. I will be driving from San Diego. What time should I leave, how long will it take me, and what is the best route?

How much traffic should I expect on Mondays between 8am-10am?

you may want to take interstate 15 north all the way to interstate 10 and then take the interstate 10 westbound to ontario. It will take 2 hours to get there if no traffic.

Take I-15 all the way. Allow 2.5 hours or more if you're not sure of the exact location when you get there.
