I have had pain in my legs for years but it is getting worse.
I am 37 and if fair condition. I can ride a bicycle for 50 miles without pain, but I cant stand or walk for very long (1-2 hours). I have stopped playing golf and dont go shopping with the wife because of the pain.

I played soccer yesterday for an hour and after my legs ached to the point I almost could not walk. After a couple hours, and a hot bath it was better and today I feel ok. The ache feels the same as when you have a fever but much worse.

The pain is from my hips to my ankles.

Md's RARELY know as much about muscles, pain and referred pain as they should because they make their money using drugs that you need the script for, or surgery.

Read a book called The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies for full information.
In the mean time rub lengthwise down your upper then lower legs all the way around. You will find there are places you did not realize are sore. Rub those places (short strokes) 6 - 12 times, 6 times a day.
I will believe that there are muscles in your back that are sore like that also, maybe other places as well.

You may want to see a doctor about this one. The week before, keep a pain journal of what you are doing when the pain occurs. This could help the doctor diagnose what is going on.
