i believe it has the second highest Jewish population in the world. I was surprised to learn this. I thought it's be NYC. Many Jewish people live on the North side of the city and the near suburbs like Skokie and Lincolnwood.

Yes, I believe there is a large Jewish population in the Chicago area.

Compared to a lot of other places I have been to, there is a very high Jewish population. There are larger pockets of Jewish people, like in Skokie or Buffalo Grove (which is where I'm close to).

Illinois is 2.2 percent Jewish, same as USA.
Chicago would probably have a higher percent than the rest of the state.
