Nope. "It is finished." Were his last words before he rose from the dead.
John 19:29-31 (New International Version)
29A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus' lips. 30When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

Maybe not the last, but right up there: "It is finished." The plan to judge and destroy evil was accomplished. And yes, something permanent was established. Isn't "permanently ended" a bit redundant?

The last thing Jesus said on the cross was, "it is finished". That however was not the last thing HE said, because HE continues to talk to His people every day.

After he was placed on the cross, He called out to Peter. Peter was so touched that the Lord had called him at his dying moment that Peter fought his way passed pilots men, getting cut and stabbed several times but with his last ditch effort, made it to the cross and asked.........."What is it Lord?" and Jesus said, I can see your house from up here.

Can you be more lame? Jesus life has not ended but continues on. Praise the Lord! And I am proud to be a part of it every day!
These were His last words...
John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
After Jesus rose from the dead, these were His last words then...
John 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

His last recorded word, in Greek, is "teleo", which translates to English, "it is finished", also meaning, "the debt is paid".
Jesus paid our debt to God by dying on the cross.
I hope some day you can really know what that truly means, and how significant an event in human history it is.

I think it was something like.... 'I hope my stupid followers write me a better story than this.... maybe add some Jeebus Magic, give me powers, talk about how I am the most mighty and powerful being... stuff like that... and maybe write that I banged Mary Magdalene... yeah, that sounds cool...'

No. They rewrote him into the story. I think Paul penciled him in or something as having risen from the dead with the bullet holes to prove it.
