if i was a full time student in '06 until may, and then worked full time would i get a huge break on my taxes?

Only from the standpoint that your withholdings were probably based on a full year's employment at whatever rate of pay you earned.

sure you will, just what you think is huge. but after you do your taxes you will know that answer.
