If you didn't have bread for breakfast or lunch try this. It usually works when i get a fish bone caught in my throat. Get about half a slice of bread or a spoon full of rice and swallow it in one glup. For the bread you might want to wad it up a little.
But it mught be something other than the pill. because these pills are usually pretty easy to dissolve.

Are you SURE it's still in there? I remember when I was younger I choked on something and my parents called 911. When they arrived they dislodged it but it severely scratched my throat so for a day or so I still felt like it was stuck when in reality it had already been removed. I could be wrong...but this could be what you're experiencing. Nonetheless you should contact your doctor since the feeling persists.

i doubt your feeling the pill or you probably would have been choking on it by now. your throat is not made to trap things unless it goes down the wrong pipe causing you to stop breathing. the pill may have just scratched an area of your throat before going down that your still continuing to feel. if different types of liquids dont work, try eating foods that are thick, chunky, and liquidy like beef stew or soup with lots of veggies and meat chunks. maybe that will help coat your throat while pushing whatever may be bothering it down. also try pasta that is thick, creamy, and hot to help soothe your throat. if you still continue to feel the dislodging then see a doctor asap. good luck!

Aggggg, you women always had a problem swallowing!
It should have dissolved by now; you might have irritated your throat and it still feels like it is there. They can dissolve in water so no worries. Try eating some bread and drinking water. And no I am not a doctor. But I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night

I have the same issue with Lortabs. Try drinking something really cold after you take the pill. If that doesn't help, talk to your doctor. I cannot swallow name brand Lortabs. The pills are just too big. I started to get the generic and they are so much smaller. If Minocycline comes in generic and is easier to swallow, I recomend trying.
