you have to try the SEDU tourmaline flat iron. it goes for about 125.00 but its the best. Everyone who uses mine loves it. have these people actually tried a tourmanline flat iron? i have also owned about 4 ceramic irons. i switched because i wasnt getting the results i wanted. bottom line your going to have breakage in your hair no matter what kind of flat iron u use. go to folica.com and look at all the pics of people who have tried the SEDU.

I have a CHI ceramic flat iron. They are a bit expensive, but the ceramic plate allows the heat to emit across the entire surface giving you better contact with the hair strand. The Tourmaline doesn't work as nicely...although both are good choices.

Use an ionic flat iron. It will not curl back easly.
Solia makes a Tourmaline Ceramic Ionic Flat Iron.
According to the Solia flat iron website, "tourmaline,
a precious stone, is used to generate up to 6 times more
negative ions than traditional ceramic irons".

Definitly ceramic. But don't get talked into the Chi. I had a Chi for years and I will admit they are great but they arent that wonderful. There are so many better brands out there that are worth the price and better than Chis.

I personally love ceramics. And i think they are better for your hair. It gives me that very straight look that i am looking for. It smoothes out a lot of my fizzie's too.
