i like this guy who is 4 years older than me but everytime i tell him i love him he just laughs at me. what should i do? i really love him. we both play the same sport (hockey). should i ask him out? what should i do? HELP

he laughs at you? Are you two really good friends? If a guy laughs at you everytime you say i love you... that's not necessarily a good thing. if you two are really good friends he probably already knows (with the i love you's and all) so talk to him about it. ask him out to lunch or something. where you two can talk one-on-one. see how it feels. see how he treats you. you don't necessarily have to come right out and ask. just have a conversation with him. see how he acts towards you. make sure you just happen to look GREAT that day. try not to be 'frumpy' around him. But BE CAREFUL with the friendzone. you don't wanna become such a good friend that he looks at you like a little sister. Once that happens you need an entirely new tactic.
He's 4 yrs older??? depending on your age, that could make a big difference in this whole situation.

He could be playing hard to get. Leave an open invitation for a date and then leave him alone. If you stop showing interest He'll probably take more notice of you. Or he just doesn't like which would be ludicrous since you're obviously a U of M fan and a Hockey player. Don't sweat it you're a catch.

If he is laughing at a serious thing like i love you then maybe you should consider that je might not love you back. Sorry but i would smack him in the face when he laughed if i were you

stop telling him that you like him....after awhile if he likees you, he'll start talking to you....if he doesn't like you now... he probably will in a couple of years.....
