What high school classes should I take to be a Police Officer?

Politics, Social studies, Law (If available), Wrestling, Debate team, Psychology, and Writing.

You need to be able to make sound judgments with a understanding of the dynamics of Criminal justice and express you reasons thourhgly in writing

Nate, there are usually not many classes offered at the high school level but if you take classes in govenment, criminal justice, ethics, and leadership (say Jr. ROTC) all this will help you prepare. More and more good police departmenst are looking for college graduates. I encourage you to go on to college and major in police administration or criminal justice before becoming a police officer. You will be able to get higher pay as a new officer and your opportunity for advancement will be greatly improved.

Well high school classes will not help you become a police officer. Play sports and become athletic, you will have a POWER test to take b4 you can become a police officer.

Whatever you do DONT take ethics!!!!.. You will not fit in with cops if you do.
