It's a little pouch or bag made of skin that's attached to a persons skin somewhere on their body. For me, they tend to grow in the same areas, and grow VERY slowly. I sometimes get them in the armpits and at the base of my neck. My biggest one was maybe a quarter inch across, and the smallest felt like a tiny bump about the size of a grain of sand. They are harmless, and you can leave them be if they don't interfere with anything.

A skin tag is a piece of excess skin that can be found any where on your body, it is not harmful it does not hurt, i myself have on right beside my right ear, and its quite noticeable but you get used to it, i actually forget its there most of the time. my father has one also. its nothing to worry about as i say just a bit of excess skin.
