Me and my boyfriend have been together for 5 months. He loves me and I love him, but the thing is...we always talked about waiting till we're married before we have sex. But lately I've been wanting to lose my virginity, only because of my friends and family. It's weird, my best friend is 14 and she's pregnant and my cousin is 15 and she's pregnant. Not to mention my mom is cheating on my dad. It seems like everyone is having sex. I kind of want to, and I kind of don't. How do i fight off my lust? I gotta do something before I end up pregnant, and I dn't plan on getting pregnant until I'm 21. Please help

You have been together long enough to have sex, you need to think about what is important to you. What family members and friends have done really doesnt involve you. If you do decide to go through with it, use protection, be responsible.

Why would you want to do something just because other people are? Losing your virginity isn't like losing an earring. It's not like oh, you can get another one, no big deal. It seems to me like you KNOW you're not ready, and like you KNOW being pregnant at a young age isn't the best idea. I think even 21 is too young to be a mother. Don't do anything just to go with the crowd. BE YOU. You are special, you are different. And if your boyfriend seems to be cool with the waiting thing, then even better. Then you know you won't have to deal with pressure from his end. It doesn't seem like any one is pressuring you but yourself. Trust me, coming from someone who WAS pressured by friends and guys for years and years, it's better to wait. I waited and I have absolutely no regrets.

You are so young!!! NEVER have sex just cuz others are having sex, if they jump off a bridge are you going to jump just cuz they are doing it?! It's not whether you "kind of" of want to but when you are ready. remember once you loose your virginity you can NEVER get it back so really think about it before you do it and I bet you even if you did do it you don't know how to protect yourself! There's condoms and birth control don't be dumb and get pregnant like your friends! they just messed up there life's forever because they won't even be able to enjoy being young anymore they are forced to grow up! be smart and don't give in to the pressure and temptations! If you are really mature learn how to make the right decisions and have sex when you are ready. It's also very special when you loose your virginity to someone you love. so once again be SMART and don't do it until your are mature!

I know it sounds fun, and it hurts so much the first time, not just down there, but in your heart. I was 14 when I first did it * I know, I know, I'm stupid* and I also ended up pregnant and now have a daughter named Alexandria who is almost seven. You have seen how your friend and cousin are both pregnant because they couldn't control themselves, and your mother is disrespecting you by setting a bad example. Don't watch your friends jump off a bridge and think that just because the fall was fun that you should also, you know? And when your heart, not just your body, is ready, you can lose your virginity. Just think: you can become like them anytime. But they have lost the ability to be like you forever. It's hard when you are older and find a man you love and who respects you, to tell him that he is not your first. No matter what men may say, they lose respect when a girl gives it up.

(not to be a whole religious fanatic/freak or anything but...) if ur a christian u should pray about it...secondly if u absolutely have to have sex then use protection, go tha whole nine yards - use birth control and a condom...
ps. its okay to feel weird about being surrounded by ppl like tht but u dont have to have sex jus bcuz the ppl ur around are doing it...

when you feel the urge either go home and pleasure yourself or look at your friend and cousin and think do I want to look like that?
