In the spring/summer I go with a little lighter blonde highlights and in fall/winter a little darker blonde highlights

since you want to keep a natural look tell your hair stylist to highlight your crown of you head that way your hair for the most part will be different and natural because your not putting a lot of chemicals in

Foil highlights is definitely the way to go! You can always choose to just have the frame of your face highlighted, so you won't damage all of your hair, but you'll still get results.
Good luck!

For years I have liked the darker underneath with the blonde on the top layer. I just think that looks so cool.

Brown or red streaks would be really trendy. If you are not sure try looking in magazines. Look for the style you want and show your hairdresser. You can be even more perfect then...
Good look!

you should add red. there are so many different reds you can choose from and they definitly look great with long blonde hair. Make sure to get it done at an Aveda salon!
