Tintinitis has no cure. It is the result of nerve damage in the ear.
Usually from listening to prolonged loud noises. It creates annoying noise in the ear(s) which we notice most at night, when the world is quiet. Mask the noise by using a small fan in your bedroom. A fan has been on of the best and cheapest things to use. You can buy 'white noise' machines, or some people turn the radio to an easy listening station, and keep the sound down very, very low to cover the noise in your ears.
You may want to visit your doctor though, to see if there is a blockage of some kind which can be removed, providing relief.
Another thing to note...if you take aspirin on a regular basis, you may want to cut back if possible. Aspirin use can cause 'ringing' in the ears as well. Good luck.

hi I sympathise alongside with your subject, as I definitely have a situation that has a similar result as tinnitus. regrettably there is not a treatment for the two yours or mine. I definitely have controlled to heavily advance mine nevertheless. As somebody else has stated, tinnitus is definitely a symptom of a few thing else, not a situation itself. yet do not concern, it is totally uncommon that that's a symptom of something extreme. As i've got stated, there are not any remedies, yet there are issues which could help (be careful with prescription or over-the-counter drugs - a number of those can definitely make it worse). There are concepts which could severely shrink the ringing interior the ears. i'm not medically qualified (!) so i'm not likely to advise a particular technique i'm afraid, yet there are various of around on the information superhighway. only be careful, and in no way definitely positioned something on your ear. solid success.

Had it for 20 years. No known cure, but masking devices can work. You will find sufferers of hayfever and dust allergy are effected by tinnitus. Avoid noisy places and wear ear plugs if you go swimming.
Sorry I cannot be of more help, but that is how it is. Get your hearing checked out regularly
PS Hopi candles do not work believe me..save your money.

Earl Mindell's Vitamin bible recommends foods rich in Manganese, potassium, 50-100 mg no-flush niacin 3 times a day, 400 iu dry vitamin E, 1-3 times a day, 50 mg zinc daily.
I've also heard Ginko Biloba, 60 mg 3 time a day can be helpful.
Avoid aspirin, can make it worse.
Some people report relief with acupuncture.
Good luck.

Ask your GP to refer you to an ENT consultant, I work at a hospital and there's a lot they can do for the complaint. I can't give you any advice because I'm not medically trained but there is help
