Funny question. Some men are lazy. Some men are raised to believe in gender roles, including housework. Some men work all day but are married to stay at home wives and feel if the man is working 10-hour days, the woman should be, too. And some men just don't know how to do the housework efficiently (they were never taught) so resist doing it.
And some men are just fine about housework.

its all how their momma raised them. not all men are lazy, my sister got a good one, he cooks and cleans just as much as he does, he works 2 jobs so she can stay home and raise their son.
It doesn't do any good arguing with a guy about him doing this chore or that chore. try making a list of the daily stuff that needs done, put it on the fridge, tell him, it would be great if he can do some of the stuff on that list, that way you dont go to be tired and can have some energy at bed time ...hint hint,, maybe if he thinks he is getting sex, he will pitch in.

i blame society. im a single parent i wish i had time to be lazy but a lot of my buddies are. and i think its because they have had people cleaning up their messes their whole lives. plus they dont like to be told what to do... pride or something i guess
i dont know what your situation is exactly. but one thing you could do is, try to be just as lazy. if you stop cleaning up after him and doing all the things you normally do, he will appreciate you more and learn to do some things on his own.

hmm... sounds like a married woman's question. and.... men are lazy because they think since their mothers probably babied them that their wives/girlfriends will too. i'm married and my husband isn't like this. thank God. he was... he's learned to do for himself now. you think they're lazy... ever seen one do laundry?! might be better that most men don't like house work

NOT all of them. My cousin will clean a house better than 5 women and can cook too. My first husband(deceased) taught ME how to cook and organise the house and keep it clean. Keep on lookin. They are there(a rare breed, but.....)
