How to tell your parents that you want to get married to someone you like if they are not too frank with you?

Well you have to also think about it this way, its your life not theirs, parents should always support their children no matter what! Yes there may be some bad choices or things they dont like too much along the way, that really shouldnt matter. You need to tell them how you feel about the person, that you want to spend the rest of your life with them, maybe they dont approve but its your life not theirs, if you want to spend the rest of your life with someone, then go for it, dont let how they feel effect you too much, forgiving each other is a part of being a family, someone will always be mad or sad or something but after time they should be able to cope with it regardless.
