The prayer of Jabez was such a hugething a couple of years back, I was just wondering if people still thought about it, or if it was a fad that officially died.

Gigglings is right. It must have been a scam. I feel ashamed that christians would stoop so low. I Googled "Jabez and Bankruptcy" after the crash and saw about 8 or ten companies named Jabez (construction a couple of times) that failed. Jabez was all about faith being rewarded materially. There is a site now called jabezprayer.com and they say greed is bad and so is debt. Too bad they didn't say that before the crash. A lot of gullible people could have been spared a lot of pain.

I never did it, it was a scam to sell someones book. There are many other prayers in the Bible. Psalms is full of them, but everyone knows that so someone found the short prayer of Jabez and made money selling a book. Guess what, Jesus said, freely you have received, freely give. I don't by those books. I have had some really good books given to me by the church of the person who wrote them! They were never for sale. They gave them away as God directed. That's a clear example of freely freely! See Ya on the other side, maybe.
