Yes, I do, and God has called all to be his children and to serve him faithfully until death and we will be rewarded with the crown of life.
We are all called on to have FAITH, and without it we are lost.
Romans 10:14,15,16,17 Tells us how to achieve such FAITH.
Hebrews 11:1,6 Tells us we must have this Faith to please God.

No, and it's bothering me terribly. Fact is, the church I had been working in would not have me back. They found enough reason to not forgive me, I guess. And things over which I can do nothing about.
Yes, I messed up. Badly.
I had been on the edge of something and told them what would happen, but none of them believed me. I kept at it for months, and with all the naysaying, I grew discouraged, and I fell.
I won't elaborate.
After I had been gone for a year, the very things I had told them of began to happen. Basically, things they thought impossible.
Now, boy they're really loaded with faith(seeing is believing?)
I guess they're too holy now to let in any repentant sinners.
No, I'm not bitter. I'm sad.

being nonreligious, i do not believe there is a god. I am in control of all my actions, and am doing what I'm doing, whatever or wherever that may be, through my decisions and my decisions alone

I don't think there is an answer to that question,we all ( I would think),try and do the best we can with what we have and what we know.
