After reading the info on the FDA website and a few others, I need to know what brand to use of this product.

Is seems different brands have either varying amounts of the more expensive ingredient,Chondroitin, or none at all.
Even some of the more expensive ones have negligible amounts, and some made in a way that your body cannot absorb them.

The pharmacist told me the same thing. Neither could promote a brand. They said use one from a large retailer who sells a lot.

I bought this for my neighbor's 13yr old dog to try it. He's old and iin arthritic pain.I bought it at the Feed store, and could not believe within a few days I saw him jumping up at the door with the other two dogs. Now he is getting on her nerves again, he is so feisty.

I have a sacro-iliac joint dysfunction. It's painful andt hampers my mobility.
It doesn't work for all people they say. I'd hate to take it for a long time, it not help, and I wouldn't know if it's the med or me. And it's pricey.
Thanks

The dosage I give my dog of that weight range is: Glucosamine: 1500 mg. Chondroitin: 500 mg. MSM: 1000 mg. These supplements are very hard to overdose on since they are a harmless substance. The three pills a day should be fine.
