Take the word slotty, take out the o and insert u and thats the word I used in a question and I got a violation notice fron yahoo. Is this the same yahoo whose news message boards used to allow way worse than that? Is that word I used over the top? Am I just out of touch??

Thoughts please

It's based on who complains. Normally, slutty would be fine, but someone complained (or else the content of your post was otherwise objectionable to yahoo).

its not yahoo who regulates the violation, a user has to notify yahoo of the "violation" and then yahoo will investigate and send out "violations" as they deem worthy. The thing is that someone must came across your word and turned you in. most people dont care so they dont get the "violations".

Doesn't seem like a bad word to me, I could think of far worse ways to say the same thing.

Apparently this forum is supposed to be rated "G" - because they have so many 3 year olds using the computer without PARENTAL SUPERVISION.

I wrote "See Ya" instead of " See You " ! ! !

Who would complain if not a prick !

I don't see anything wrong with calling a slut slutty.
