Does anyone think it means more to say "I Love You" in person rather then over the phone or through email etc. or does it mean more when they say it to your face?
My boyfriend of 2 years seem's to always say it more over the phone and as he's walking out the door to leave somewhere and I am the opposite, I like to say it to his face. Does it realy matter as long as they say it?

Hmm.. well the first time me and my ex said it was over the phone. We lived two hours apart, so when the time came to say it, we weren't together. My heart still raced because it was the fact that he said it that meant so much. I never thought I'd hear a guy say it! lol Well actually, to be really correct, the first time he said it was when we were having sex. He lightly said it in a heavy breathe so that I wouldn't totally hear it. Then when he said it later on the phone I asked if he had and he said yes. So that made it all the more special to me. We honestly didn't say it a lot in person, mostly like you said. When we're getting off the phone with eachother we say it or online.

My boyfriend said he loved me on the second date, to me it meant pathetic but i played along till he started asking me if i loved him back. I ignored it. Its a big word but its just a word you can say it to anyone.

Feel lucky. I understand that some guys hardly ever say it.
