It is a newer version of Windows to give Gates more money. I would not wast my money on it. If you have XP then I would just keep the XP and not switch to Vista. and plus $150 is too much for a computer program.

It's the new version of Windows.
Vista is the replacement for Windows XP.
XP replaced Windows ME.
Windows ME replaced Windows 98.
Windows 98 replaced Windows 95.
Not getting into the non-consumer operating systems like NT or Windows 2000.
