And then I can just do whatever I want and still be"saved?" Like fornication, and illegal drug use? And I get to tell other people that they aren't christian and are going to hell because they don't believe what I do?

You are absolutely correct. Once you have been saved, the One True Mighty has forgiven all of your sins ... past, present and future. the OTM knows every decision you have made, that you are making, and those that you will make. This is indeed a lisence to perpetrate any sin except the sin of not knowing better than to question the OTM's deity. Your new sinless nature can be used to do whatever you want. Morals become relative and ethics are no longer necessary. Also, as an added bonus, being sinless qualifies you to cast the first stone. Have fun with your salvation and don't forget to share it with everyone you know!! If they won't share threaten them with an afterlife that is full of burning and rotting flesh that magically renews itself to be burned and left to rot, over and over and over and ...

No.

Accepting Jesus is an important step, but first I would get into a church or a good bible study, where you coukd read and learn about sin. Once you begin studying the Bible and learning about the life that Jesus lived and why he died on the cross, then you may want to change your life (repent). After doing this, then you will understand water baptism and accepting Jesus as your savior will be a naturqal next step.

Suggested scripture you may want to read if you have a Bible:

Romans 3:23
Romans 5:8
Romans 6:23
Romans 10:9 - 14.

This is a good place to start. I would also begin reading the Gospel of John which talks about the love of Jesus.

I pray this helps. God bless

No. Accept that Jesus is Savior, is His Name. When one confesses Jesus Christ as ones Savior, they have come to the understanding that they have sinned & come short of Gods Glory.

We confess Jesus Christ as Lord of our lives. Also there has to be honesty & true heart faith in His Atonement & Resurrection.

This is confessing with the mouth & believing in ones heart, and it it spoken to God, because one actually senses Gods love, & speaks to Gods love. (Sometimes it is the fear of God that saves people though.)

What your are describing is a hypocrite with your question. And believeing that way won't save anyone from hell but lead people to hell. Being a hypocrite isn't wise. One is either born of God, Gods way or no way at all.

It is written that those who overcome are those who are born of God. That our faith is our victory. It is by faith we are saved, and are made the righteousness of Christ.

One who is truly born of God cannot abide in sin (make it a comfortable habit) because of the Holy Seed within. Me, as a born again Christian, can try to fornicate or use illegal drugs, but I would be totally convicted in my spirit, & if I tried to abide in it, God could verywell take me home (heaven) early.

Well after your saved the holy ghost (SPIRIT OF GOD) will convict you of sin. You are saved by the grace of God when you accept Jesus is God. But after your born again, you become his child which comes with responsibilities. God says in his word that he will chastise you while on earth so he can correct you if you decide to rebel against his word, I have experience in this I kept smoking weed and fornicating TRUST ME God will make you regreat you ever sinned....Now I no longer smoke weed or fornicate.
Anyways I wouldnt test God in this matter if you dont believe me see for your self.. Im just thankfull to God that he corrected me.

Accept in Greek means:

To hold on to and never let go.

When the Holy Spirit is truely living inside of you, you're gonna be convicted when you start to sin, because you'll know what's wrong.

Actions do not determine our salvation, it's a condition of the heart. True repentance is turning around and leaving all of your old sinful ways in the dust.

I cussed like a sailor... before I was saved.

You have to have a repetitive heart, truly believe that Jesus is who He says is, the death, burial, and Resurrection. If you truly believe and accept Him as your savior, you become a child of God. If you choose to sin after that, you will be chastised as a child.
First thing you need to do is stop persecuting Christian believers.

No you (most importantly) have to REPENT of your sins. This means you do not want to do them any more. It's your sins that put Jesus to death. At Pentecost when the disciples went out on to the balcony and preached, several of the people asked afterward what must they do then to be saved and the Apostles answered "Repent, and be baptized"

I believe you have to do more than just accept Jesus. Accepting also means FOLLOWING His teaching. I don't think He approves of fornication, drug use, murder, etc....

You just speak to Him what comes from your heart.

No. Salvation is not a license to sin. Salvation takes away your desire to sin. It makes you feel badly when you sin, as you are Spirit filled, and it grieves the Spirit when you sin.

No. You never have the right to judge anyone's heart. That is God's job. You can, however, judge their actions. If someone says they are saved and they continue to sin without regrets, you can judge that action to say their actions do not show they are saved. If someone says they are saved and they sin and you can tell that it really bothers them and that they struggle with it--you can judge their actions to say their actions show they are saved.

No, those are all the things you do before you accept Jesus as your Savior. You might try actually reading a book before you attack it.
