Wow, that is really sad. I imagine you've tried to talk to her about this and how it makes you feel and it hasn't worked. You know, sometimes even though you're the child you have to understand that parents are not always as wise as you'd hope, they're people too. You may just have to learn how to deal with it and find a trusted family member or friend to vent to when this happens.

Sometimes when a person is angry at another, they don't want to say anything till the edge goes away, for fear of saying something they'll regret. I don't know if that's the way it is for your mom, but all you can do is leave her alone till the storm passes. Then both of you can discuss the issue with cooler heads.
When talking about your feelings with her, use "I" messages. "I feel this when this happens." that will avoid sounding like you're blaming her for something, and she'll be less likely to get defensive. Keep in mind that probably neither of you *meant* to anger the other. Good luck!

first stop doing things that will make your mom mad... that is the first step... the second is sit her down and talk to her. Explain to her that you don't like the silent treatment, that you rather be punished for your crimes... Your mother just wants the best for you and she is going to make sure you get just that. You just have to learn how to talk your feelings out with her in a nice way and not in an attitude

The best advice I can offer you, as cliche as it may sound is to have open communication with your mother. Let her know that it hurts you when she does this. Think about what you want to say, and how you're going to say it before you talk to her. She'll never know how bad it hurts you unless you tell her. Good luck! =)

This is a typical mom thing. When my daughter has seriously screwed up, I don't ignore her, but I'm quieter. Calmly explain to her that you're sorry, and want to talk to her about it.

Find something to do until she gets over it. Read a book, go for a walk, watch tv.
If this is lasting for days at a time, talk to your school counselor or school nurse.

she probley isn`t doing it to hurt you.
it may be better if she ignores you because she won`t yell at you or anything.
just some time when she is in a good mood talk to her about how you feel.

'kill' her with kindness! When she is mad, calmly explain that you know why she is mad, that you are sorry, but you still LOVE her, and make it over the top silly with hugs, etc....she won't be able to stay mad for long!

Maybe she doesn't know how to either handle her emotions when she's upset with you.....or she doesn't want to communicate with you then.
Tell your Mom how much it hurts you when she does that.
