Because Satan likes it that way. Makes it easier for Satan to get away with murder.

Dear who,

I am very surprised at your question! Don't you understand that we are presently in the Great Tribulation spoken of in Matthew 24? From everything the Bible that we read in the Bible, it appears that 2011 A.D. will be the year in which Jesus Christ (God Almighty) returns. 2011 A.D is exactly 7000 years from when God destroyed the world the first time by water (Genesis 7). The only people to survive that worldwide flood was Noah, his wife, their 3 sons and their wives. That means out of the entire earth population only 8 people were saved. We also read about the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19) which were completely destroyed by fire and brimstone except for Lot and his 2 daughters.

The Lord tells us in 2 Thessalonians 2 that there would come a time when the Lord would no longer be using the local congregations and would allow satan (son of perdition) to rule in the local churches. Therefore, absolutely NO ONE can be saved there regardless of the accuracy of the preaching. That is why God commands the true believers (elect) to come out of the churches (Matthew 24:15, 16; Revelation 18:4). If you read Rev 18 you will find that the churches have become Babylon-under the rule of satan.

As we proceed toward 2011 you will see the exceeding sinfulness of man as God turns man over to his desires. Evil and wickedness will continue to abound until Christ returns on Judgment Day; the end of the world and time. If you are not saved start reading the Bible and pray to the LORD that He might have mercy on you.

The TEACHINGS are still mostly relevant, it's just that the crap the lessons are packaged in is worthless. Good Christians know this, and simply follow their religion without having to "save" everyone around them. They are happy in their faith, accept different beliefs, and more power to them.

The problem lies with the rest of Christianity that can't agree on what the bible says, take it literally, conveniently forget certain words of God, and use the bible as a weapon.

What makes you sure that they are not? The Old Testament is a history and a book of morals and laws, The new Testament is the story of Jesus and salvation. History morals and law are never irrelevant in any age, and the Story of Jesus is only irrelevant to those who chose not to believe

Because the Bible teaches people not to steal, murder, and not to hate their neighbors, and now that we have so many lawyers and liberal judges people think they can get away with all that evil stuff.

Do not murder - no , that's not relevant anymore.
Do not lie - well, maybe
Do not commit adultery - oh, well, I want to, so that one is irrelevant now.
Love your neighbor - nah, why would I do that?
Live in peace - why bother? I want to rule the world!

Because they were written at a time when information was not available, when racism and discrimination were encouraged and when killing someone in the name of religion was allowed. At that time, people did not know the causes of basic phenomena so slight of hand was considered "miracles". That made people believe.

Now it's all irrelvant.
