I have never heard of it. I have heard of Grave's disease however. Is that what you meant? If so, it is a thyroid disease which results in an overactive one.

The only disorder i have ever heard of which gray horses lift a quite larger threat for is melanoma, which is a style of dermis melanoma that can invade the horse's physique by means of the rectal or genital field. But the chance of any horse getting this disorder varies commonly from breed to breed, and most gray horses by no means strengthen it in any respect. I've recognized at least 3 grey horses in my long life with them, and handiest certainly one of them ever got this sickness- which by the way is slow growing and effortlessly treated when it can be within the early levels. I would not use the infinitely small chance of a horse's contracting this disease as an excuse to avert looking at or purchasing a gray horse, when you like that colour. I myself love grays, especially ones whose coats flip a extremely good silver in the summertime. They're lovely to appear at, and they are relatively flashy in the exhibit ring.
