Lately, I've been getting extremely dehydrated. I play baseball an drink a lot of water normally. But then, during practice, I will get weird symptoms. My mouth will be extrmely dry, i find it hard to swallow and breath. I've been playing baseball for the past 11 years of my life and never had symptoms like this.

Try drinking a gatorade first then drinking water. The gatorade has lots of salt & electrolytes to help you retain the water. See if that helps. This is what my husband, who has a brutal job resurfacing swimming pools (in FL), does to avoid getting heatstroke in the summer. Also no beers - has alcohol which further dehydrates you :)

Just drinking water will not help your dehydration. You sweat out a lot of minerals as well that need to be replaced.
Add some gatorade or another mineral replacement sports drink!

eating salty food or just eating salt alone helps your pore obtain more water and it will be harder for you to sewat and dehydrate.

SO im guessing ur sodium is low.

Try to get some salty food in your system. It helps to from dehydrating. ANd ofcourse drink plenty of water!

good luck!
