going to Heaven, instead of Hell, has nothing whatsoever to do with how good a person you are, how brave you are, how much money you have......
realizing Jesus is Lord will also not get anyone to Heaven, terrorist, monk or otherwise.
even the Devil himself realizes that Jesus Christ is Lord of the Universe.
all humans are born with a sinful nature.
God is without sin and He cannot and will not allow a soul into Heaven with a sinful nature.
He devised a plan to remedy that situation, and it is the only plan, the only way to heaven.....
and it is His Gift to you, if you will ony accept it:
John 3: The Words of Jesus Christ (God in the flesh)
3. "Verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God."
4. Nicodemus saith unto Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?"
5. Jesus answered, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God."
6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."
16. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18. He that believeth on Him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

Thats what I ask folks who believe that good works will pave their way to heaven. What purpose Christ? His Sacrifice was necessary to atone for your sins. Credits dont cancel debts as in accounting. At a trial, attorneys will point out that the defendant is otherwise a good person, but the crime remains and the sentence must be fulfilled. And that is the purpose of Christ.

He died so that when you did ask for forgiveness and repent (which you will if you ever come into the light) it will mean something. Before Christ you could ask to be forgiven all you wanted, but it was like spitting in the wind.

in case you quite prefer to take Christian doctrine and theology to job, you should analyze it to comprehend it extra appropriately and precisely. although, your question is an outstanding one. Many variations and sectors of Christian screw up this element. Jesus lack of existence paid the penalty for sin. It turned right into a authentic fee and a authentic penalty. yet that is not the best of the tale. Christianity is an exceptionally authentic relationship between the guy and Christ and His Father (and, for sure, the Holy Spirit). it really is ongoing, dynamic. in case you and that i are acquaintances, yet you scouse borrow $one hundred of mine and flow to penitentiary. i visit drop prices, get you out of penitentiary, although the count of our friendship desires therapeutic. A undesirable get collectively, yet possibly it will make sparkling. On going to hell in case you not in any respect ask forgiveness, having become a truthful Christian, i do not imagine so, although the Bible does not say for certain. Theoretically, definite, you should do any sin, nevertheless count on Jesus, and nevertheless flow to heaven. yet that's unlikely, in that Bible practise questions the sincerity of your faith in case you freely have interaction in severe sin on an ongoing foundation. one extra element, repentance isn't to get rid of the guilt of or penalty for sin. Repentance is for the guy, to pressure the seriousness of the sin and the prefer to come back to a call now to not repeat it interior the destiny. God would not prefer to take heed to confession; we prefer to communicate it, openly well known what we did. that's all about boost. We right here to become, now to not play legalistic video games.

Someone had to bridge the gap between God and man....and that was Jesus. Repentence comes when Jesus comes into your life. You find yourself wanting to turn from sin.

If a multi-billionare set up a fund to give each person great riches...and some didn't believe he would really give it to them: They wouldn't ask. They wouldn't have the benefits of what he set up for them.
If you don't TRUST God to give you the salvation which was won by Jesus - it won't do you any good.
If you DON'T trust God to give you this........why not?
Maybe you need to do some research about the God who is making this offer to you and all people. And then MAYBE you will be one of us who do trust Him for it and will go to Him to receive it.

You have to accept Christ's gift. It is free with no strings attached. However it is only through accepting his life, death and resurrection that one can attain entrance to heaven. He said I am the way the light and the door. No one gets to the Father except through me. If you don't accept him as the Savior then you reject him.

Jesus died for you and me so that we could be saved. He bore our sins on that cross if we will just confess them to Him and ask for forgiveness of them.

It needs your permission for the myth to have any impact on your behavior, which is the true purpose of religions.
Some of the programmed responses you get from people below are scary, the mind programming of these people is so obvious. They spew out these religious dogma without even thinking if it makes any sense.
