ive never had this before, my left eye in the corner became distorted with like a silver shimmer at the corner of my eye then it all went blurred it took 5-10 mins to get my eye sight back then came a throbbing headache ive not had one since , could it be a migraine

Yes, this could be migraine as blurred vision and bright little dotty lights are symptoms....HOWEVER, it could be a sign of a number of other things, or it could just be a one off. If it occurs again..why not take a trip to the doctor.
How is your blood pressure? Have you had it checked lately?

most definately did you also feel sick or were you sick, best thing for a migraine is complete darkness, painkillers and go to sleep you will be better when you wake up

Please call your doctor. Any changes in vision plus a headache should be checked out. Could be blood pressure; you could prevent a stroke.
