As I recall it...Bruce Lee was a taoist. He was also a lifetime student of philosophy and was reputed to have had and read more than a thousand books on the subject (he was a philosophy major in college as I remember it.)

I don't think he practiced any particular religion. If anything, he was a Taoist.

I think Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once stated in an interview that Bruce Lee was kind of a renegade Taoist-Priest. (Not by ordainment, but by philosophy and deeds.)
