I havent got my w2 from my former employer. They first said it would be mailed out mid january, I called on Feb 5 they said I should receive it soon. Is there any date they MUST hav it out by?

Accross the board it has to be postmarked by 31 January.

Since W-2's are not from the state, they are federal, businesses must have their W-2's out to you by January 31.

Same as everywhere else, the W-2's should be postmarked on or before January 31.

I believe it is the same in the states every where they have until the end of Janurary 31st to mail it.

Use that last pay stub of 2006. That will work.
