create parallel universes, each one very similar to this one, but changing a little in each. perhaps in another parallel universe he is the god of a different religion and christianity is the false one, perhaps he picks and choose which religion he wants to be the god of for each parallel universe?

what do you think one of your other selves are doing right now?

well this is an interesting concept if i must say so anyway what if god was using religion to test everybody to see if we can all love and look out for one another and really couldn't care less about religion whatsoever

Chippy...that is an endless question, lol. Yes, of course I have been able to explore the possibility that God may have created parallel universes (sheesh....now everyone will know I am a sci-fi fan, lol). When I finally was able to let go on MY CONCEPT of God, many things became possible.

I do not see that Christianity would be a false religion, but I do see that another universe might have a different path to God than the one we use. To tell you the truth, I think THIS universe may have more than one path to God (I will be burned at the stake for heresy but there it is), and that Christ is simply OUR path (those os converted Judeo, Gentile, and Pagan faith).

For me, it is through FAITH that I can do this...that I can say, of course there is a 4th Dimension, warp speed is possible, whatever, lol...because in God ANYTHING can be possible. CC

lol..that's an interesting thought...but I don't think that'd be a reasonable idea. (And there are 'parallel universes': Earth, Heaven, and Hell.)

First, the Bible says all men have sinned, and thus, all need the savior, Jesus.

Jesus was on Earth, and he saved the world. Any other world is just out of luck. Jesus said he was the only way to the Father.

The Book of Daniel tells about God's creation and the heavens, hell, etc. I think one verse in the story of Jonah says "Your heavens, O Lord, curl up in the vast universe"

Scientists are recently proposing the "superstring theory" that suggests the universe was created by bouncing energy and sound waves that are converted into mass. This theory states there are actually 11 dimensions, and that the last few dimensions "curl up". I though that was pretty cool, anyway.

The Bible also says that all of us are created unique in God's image; there never was, is, or we be anyone quite like us. God loves us as his individual, special creations.

You have a right to your opinion, but I have to tell you something. I have difficulty understanding why people believe that God will "pick" a religion in a biased way. Didn't God make ALL people?

Nor have I ever been able to understand why people think that a person's opinion is the most imortant thing in the world. Isn't a peson's actions in this life a little more important than how they solve the guessing game of life? I don't see anything noble or heroic about simply forming a belief or opinion.

To believe the Christian God did such a thing would imply belief in the Christian God, which I do not have.

Why is it that each new scientific discovery (like string theory and the juxtaposition of matter discussed in your question) always has to be claimed by Christians as the work of God?

Science: "We've just discovered XYZ!"

Christianity: "That's because God created XYZ, of course!"

Wait, I know this one! Remember that kid in grade school that ALWAYS had the same new toy you did- or at least SAID that he did- but you never saw him with it? Made you wonder if he was lying to make you believe him...

There are many planes (levels) of existence and there is indeed a god who rules each plane. The one Supreme Deity sits at the highest plane. Souls, however are unique. I don't believe there is another "me" sitting anywhere else other than the inner essence which I strive to discover within myself.

other than the xtian god is fabrication, no, there is no reason to believe He didn't create parallel universes. hypothetically, if the xtian God existed, of course he could have created parallel universes.

my other self is probably on a missionary tour of asia. oh wait, thats bizarro world, not parallel world.

We do not know what He has done in other galaxies or such. We do know that He is there for us as our God, our Lord, our Creator and our Guide. Dream if you wish, but remember these basics and get/stay connected to God in heaven.

in one dimension they have discovered all the others and a means to view them, and realize that there is a different one for every choice we make, so everybody is killing themselves because nothing they do matters, it's already been done in another dimension
