You are right, many people/most people have at some time in their life have condemned someone. But, it is a sin just like any other sin. It is difficult to be perfect and never sin.......how many people do you know that are perfect?? I can only say sin is a ticket to hell but I know that as a Christian I have been cleansed in the blood of Christ just like all Christians. I have no idea what is going to happen with you or any other person between now and judgment so how could I actually judge anyone to hell??
Now, most people have moments of hypocrisy in their lives. People do that, we are people, it happens.

First, some do condemn and act better than others when WE are sinners just as much! We are covered by the blood of the lamb, but we are still human and we still sin---but we know the difference between things of God and things that are not, when the Holy Spirit convicts us. But we all fall short of God's glory! Romans 3:23
When I am telling someone the gospel- I remind them that I am the worst of sinners- because I feel like I fail constantly! And I am reminded of God's grace and how He has forgiven me--and that is what gives me joy- but I still would not put myself above anyone else.
BUT when we speak about hell, and sin it is GOD'S words I use because they are not mine, but His- These are HIS ways and the truth is in HIM, not something I make up or tell people to show that I am better because I have Christ--I actually care about others, and that is why I share it--just like a disease, and sharing the cure for that disease. If we who share the gospel were self righteous and putting ourselves above others, we would not take the time to share God's truth in love. And I agree many do condemn and do not present the gospel right.

i have never told anyone they were going to hell!! why do you people always lump all christians together and say we are all the same? i am nobodies judge, jury or exacutioner!! whats more i don't claim to be! only the Lord can judge and condemn and he is fair and just and he always forgives no matter what!! if people would just stop blaming him for every thing and start seeing what he is really about, then people could stop asking such negative questions all the time.

yes christians are the 1st to judge people . and thats the gods honest truth lol, (see what i did there) lol
i work with them and they are saying one thing and quoting the bible , but the judge you almost instantly when you say you dont want to be part of the christian cult , you will go to hell. i've been told this a hundred times and its just got old now ,
its the silliest idea they came up with , its a bullying antic to get you to be as them ,
if you dont be saved by jesus then your going to hell .
i say " get a life stop bullying me into believing .,
sorry wheres the free will in christianity , there is none,
thats why i'm spiritual , its far less confusing and you never have to worry about hell because its not there .x xx
peace & love Tasha

Yes. Humans should never "play GOD" it is sacrilegious. however, when one says you will go to hell for doing something that is a form of judging, and well most all of us say that one time or another.
a persons salvation and destination is between God and the individual.

Depends on your definition of judging. Jesus said that He is the only way to God. If I repeat what He says, I'm not judging, I'm just stating a fact. He said it.
The Bible tells us not to judge, for with the measure you use, it will be measured against you. Judge not, lest you be judged. But, in Matthew 18, we are required to confront our brothers (fellow believers) when we see them in sin. We are to judge the members of our church. If those outside feel judged, that is the conviction of the Holy Spirit and should be listened to.

According to one Christian here on the board who answered a similar question yesterday, "Judge not that ye be not judged" applies only to judging other Christians, not non-Christians. Convenient, eh? Fortunately, it doesn't appear that most Christians accept this interpretation.

yes it is very hypocritical of them to do so as it begs me to aks who in the blue hell gave them the authority to say who is moral or immoral and i don't want to hear about the bible although it is kind of biased but it would be nice to hear it from them through actual words of their own

The better question is:
If Christians don't like it when people try to explain their own religious beliefs to the Christians, why do those same Christians explain their beliefs to others?

The ones who do that sure, but then they also have to disagree with "playing god" and that probably doesn't fit all christians either.
