Always use the Bible for the authority in Truth. The veneration of Mary is based on the teaching of intercession by saints, regarding which there is nothing in the Scriptures. First in 1854 was “the immaculate conception of the Virgin Mary” made a dogma, and that in direct contradiction of the plain Scriptural teaching that all have sinned, that all are sinners, that none are righteous. (Rom. 3:10-12; 5:12) Nothing is said about Mary’s being an exception. Had she been sinless she could not have died a “natural” death. Mary, Jesus' mother, was an excellent servant of God. She had a love for the scriptures. When the angel Gabriel announced that she was to give birth, she manifested surprise. Being a virgin, she had not had "intercourse with a man." On learning that the birth was to be by means of holy spirit, she humbly accepted the message, saying: "Look! Jehovah's slave girl! May it take place with me according to your declaration." (Luke 1:30-38) She valued the spiritual privilege so much that she was willing to bear any hardship that her decision might entail. Lots of women from the Bible were blessed. She was chosen by God because of her PROVED faithfulness. Throughout her whole life she loved God. God knew she would carry out her commission faithfully. Indeed, accepting the commission changed her entire life as a woman. But only one is supreme in holiness, is God & His Son. Others can be holy to a limited degree, but that does not mean they should be worshipped, does it? Man was born into sin... up until Jesus was born, since Adam & Eve, noone had been in a perfect condition on the Earth.

In accordance with this design, Mary the Virgin is found obedient, saying, 'Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word.' But Eve was disobedient; for she did not obey when as yet she was a virgin. And even as she, having indeed a husband, Adam, but being nevertheless as yet a virgin (for in Paradise 'they were both naked, and were not ashamed,' inasmuch as they, having been created a short time previously, had no understanding of the procreation of children: for it was necessary that they should first come to adult age, and then multiply from that time onward), having become disobedient, was made the cause of death, both to herself and to the entire human race; so also did Mary, having a man betrothed [to her], and being nevertheless a virgin, by yielding obedience, become the cause of salvation, both to herself and the whole human race. And on this account does the law term a woman betrothed to a man, the wife of him who had betrothed her, although she was as yet a virgin; thus indicating the back-reference from Mary to Eve, because what is joined together could not otherwise be put asunder than by inversion of the process by which these bonds of union had arisen; s so that the former ties be cancelled by the latter, that the latter may set the former again at liberty… Wherefore also Luke, commencing the genealogy with the Lord, carried it back to Adam, indicating that it was He who regenerated them into the Gospel of life, and not they Him. And thus also it was that the knot of Eve's disobedience was loosed by the obedience of Mary. For what the virgin Eve had bound fast through unbelief, this did the virgin Mary set free through faith

Pure conjecture but an interesting point. Catholicism would have you believe in her divinity. A pure birth with no original sin. However, scripture shows no account of her sinless birth. She does remain however most highly favored by God and chosen to carry the vessel of our Salvation, which is Christ Jesus. Some have alluded to a notion as Jesus being the new Adam. Once again scripture does not give any clear indication as to this being of divine origin and simply mankind's interpretation of the scripture. Prayer and meditation on God's word is the only way to have your answers. God Bless

Mary was born in sin like everyone else. Her body was used to nuture the life that would become Jesus. Since the life force was a perfect "seed" from God, it didn't matter that Mary was imperfect. She aged and died like anyone else.

Yes she is. She is also the new Ark of the Covennant. Eve's name originally was Eva. It is interesting that backwards it is Ave (as in Ave Maria)

No; there is nothing in the Bible that gives us any reason to believe that.
Oh, you said original sin? I don't think that expression is in the Bible either.
